 Desert Cove has always been a community of compassionate, generous individuals, and we are very proud of our long standing and ongoing contribution to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH).  A place where many of us have, at one time or other, received care. A place very deserving of our support.

Covians have been giving to the VHJ for many years. The VJH has contribution information from Desert Cove as far back as 1996.  ​Our Refundable Recycling Program was launched for the express purpose of raising funds for the VJH.  The program really got off to its official start in about 2012, which was when the DCHA purchased the first large recycle bins.

​

We are proud of this wonderful community who faithfully donate their refundables, and forever grateful to the team of dedicated, hard-working individuals who do all the dirty work; sorting and delivering the recyclables for refund.

Once a year, we have the absolute pleasure of inviting the VJH Light a Bulb Foundation Representatives to visit Desert Cove and be presented with the “Big Cheque” of our contributions for the year.
